Kyle MacDonald (Founder/Owner)
Kyle started his landscape work experience in 2003, in Nova Scotia, as a grounds keeper at a newly built golf course in Rines Creek, Penn HIlls Golf.

He continued to work in golf course maintenance when in 2008, he got a job with Oakfield Golf and Country Club. He continued to work there until 20012 and during his time there gained experience and skills related to golf course turf maintenance. He also fulfilled the roles of Pesticide application technician, irrigation technician.
In the fall of 2012 Kyle enrolled in the diploma program offered by Dalhousie University’s Agricultural Campus (formerly NSAC) and completed his study in 2014.
Wanting to further his education in the landscaping discipline, he enrolled in the Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Landscape Horticulture program, also offered by Dalhousie University’s Agricultural Campus. In 2016 he completed the program.
During his studies he worked with local landscape installation and maintenance companies, gaining valuable experience and fortifying installation techniques.

In 2016, after completing his studies, he founded the small business Atlantic Grass Roots Landscaping. He now has over 20 years of landscape
experience in and is still proudly operating this business, serving clients across Nova Scotia.
